You need a Planner not an Architect.

First off have a look at the submitted plans, planners can only take account of material considerations (basically what planning law allows) .

Then speak with the local planning department or look in the local development plan to determine if there are any policy with regard to separation distances then check if these are met on the submitted plans. If not this is a strong reason for objection.

You need to consider if the property would have an overbearing impact on your property and affect your overall amenity.

If you're not confident to do the above then you can hire a Planner to put in an objection on your behalf.
