Volvo XC90

Sorry to post in aibu but no idea where to post as chat doesn't get many replies! I'm so confused about the XC90 and wondered if anyone can help.... the ones for sale seem to be different models e.g. Geartronic / geartronic estate / lux estate geartronic. How the heck do I find out the differences? Surely there's a buying an XC90 for dummies website? Google not throwing anything up and I'm really confused! Anyone know car stuff and can simply explain or point me to a site? Very grateful, thanks in advance.

Thank you. Neither have info on the different types of XC90.... obviously it is just to with the spec but it seems what it actually is is a state secret....

Have you used the Volvo website to configure your XC90. I remember it not being very clear (but I was reading it in a language which is not my mother tongue).

Usually the difference is engine size and “finish/upgrades” but I don’t recognise the names you’ve given (again could be different between countries) so can’t tell you what the differences are.

Have you tried the Piston heads forum? Or a Volvo fb group?

My boss had an xc90 and gear box went after only my 60k .... common problem apparently

I find it usually has very detailed lists of the different specs

Thank you, I will have a look. I'm looking at ones over 60k as don't have a big budget. Why is it so confusing! I just a list saying the xc 90 geartronic has xyz as opposed to the lux which has xyz gah!

The Volvo forums are really god if you're stuck. Are you looking at the new shape or the old ones?
