To go on strike, just for tonight (lighthearted)

I don’t know why I am so tired.

I’m on strike just for tonight....I can’t bring myself to make another dinner, do bath time, do bedtime X 2 for the DCs. I’ve had enough....I’m on strike....anyone else have days like this

YANBU I go on strike at least once a month, it's the only time I seem to get to have a nice hot bath on my own

fakesong · 17/01/2018 16:08

YA totally NBU! I try to do this now and again. But it invariably just descends into chaos and I always end up breaking my strike...

Timeforabiscuit · 17/01/2018 16:11

Its not strike, its self care, you're tired so rest - can your dh do it?

Deadsouls · 17/01/2018 16:12

I want to go to bed now, with no more responsibilities for the day and for someone to bring me dinner in bed

No DH, only ex-DH but trying to swing it so that ex takes DS to football practise and back. Plus I did book childminder from 6-8pm to give DD a bath and put her to bed. Also hope ExDH makes dinner for kids

Haven’t got kids but I’m also on strike. Have been since 3pm yesterday. I have rotten flu and cba. Ate choc fudge cake for dinner and crawled into bed when I got home yesterday. Crawled into work today lasted til lunch came home to bed with ice cream. Won’t be moving.
