I’m up too, just finished a work shift and too wired to sleep, trying to unwind and get my brain to switch off, am watching Four in a Bed, non-demanding TV slows down my mind but somehow I think i’ll be awake for many more hours

I’m up because a drunk driver drove into my parked car

I'm awake because my brain thought it'd be a great idea to wake me up to discuss exactly why I'm rubbish at everything and can't cope with my life. currently actively trying to shut it up, not obsess and worry. just thinking, 'I'll think about that tomorrow when i wont be night paranoid' to myself over and over.

I'm awake because DH has man flu and when he is ill we all know about it even though I am in the spare room. Need to be made aware of how ill he is, share his coughing and spluttering and be reminded that no one has ever been this ill before. FFS he will go back to sleep soon but I won't will I?

I'm a terrible insomniac. My severely autistic/non verbal DS has just woken me up by banging his head against his wooden headboard, repeatedly. No idea what's wrong, he can't tell us. Given him painkillers and soothed him. He'll be awake all night now, on 4 hours sleep

His future keeps me awake worrying

I'm up, I had surgery this week and woke in pain. It's ds's birthday party today, I need to get some sleep in order to deal with 15 excited three year olds!

I'm awake because I thought I could hear a woman's voice talking. I checked my phone incase it was a video or a phone call somehow but it wasn't. Then I realised it was coming from my own throat, every time I breath out it's accompanied by a strange whining wheezing sound and I can't get rid of it. I'm worried I've had such bad acid in pregnancy that I've got a hole in my voicebox or something!

That's why I'm awake Edible, it sooooo shit feeling like this!
