Because mine's like a frigging train station!!
I look forward to the evening...my DC are older now at 10 and 12 so they usually go off to their rooms to chill before bed....and I like to get the sitting room all cosy and relax.
Except every fucker fucks it up!
DH wanders about....from garden to kitchen...down the hall...we're all floorboards and it sounds like elephants doing the congo.
Then DD opens her bedroom door multiple times to go for a drink...the loo...the dog barks...the cat decides now's the time to fight a tiny piece of lint as though it were a violent killer.
I JUST WANT SOME QUIET!
