To think that fog lights are for fog?

... and not for when it happens to grow dark?

Why do so many people have them on when it isn't foggy???

Also, I know this has been done before, but headlights are also bloody blinding me. Does nobody know how to dip them? Especially those people who have the horrible white ones. I'm starting to find it completely unbearable driving in the dark. Unfortunately it's something that's not going to change til the summer months as it's dark when I leave the house in the morning and dark when I return in the evening.

YANBU - fog lights are for when it is foggy or visibility is reduced to below 100m - that doesn’t include it being dark!

I hate it when people use them in the tiniest bit of fog too, just dazzles me and I find it disorientating as there is only one light. Only time it is appropriate is in very thick fog.

I don't think it's that people don't dip their headlights, I think it's that car manufacturers keep making headlights brighter. I really feel that there needs to be a clear restriction on how bright the lights should be. Also how many there are on any vehicle. Some lorries seem to be lit up like Christmas trees these days. Incredibly distracting.

YANBU- stupid fuckers that drive round with them on, because they're pretending they have a fancy car with 'running' lights Hmm
I'm sick of them.
