What is this bleeding?

I am mid cycle. Had ovulation pain yesterday. Today I’m shocked to experience proper bleeding like a last day period situation. WTF is going on? Anyone experienced this?!!

I get random bleeding at all different times of the month and have for over 15 years. Sometimes I bleed just because I'm stressed. There's never been anything untoward diagnosed and my smears have been fine.
Maybe it's just one of those things, but best get yourself checked out if it continues.

Implantation bleeding? Is there a chance of pregnancy?

My cycles have started being like this too. I've been checked out by my gp and I'm fine. She thinks it's hormonal and due to anxiety

I’d be absolutely shocked with a pregnancy as we have never been fortunate enough to experience a spontaneous one, only ever through IVF although we don’t use anything as a result of said infertility ! And we have only managed one ‘session’ this month about 6 days ago. Blush

I get mid cycle bleeding, told the doctor. She got me checked out, turns out I have pcos.

Best get it checked though. It is very unlikely to be anything sinister, but it is a possibility.

My mother had quite early menopause (42) and as I’m nearing 38 - I don’t even know what happens at menopause but it strikes me it could be genetically early? I don’t know. Like I said I’d be seriously shocked at a non assisted pregnancy after many years even though we have unexplained infertility !

Mid-cycle bleeding can be a sign of peri-menopause.
