Health anxiety and hemmorhoids

I have had piles on and off since I had dd but nothing like today. I've been stood up all day and have a really bad stabbing pain in my bottom. I looked and have a big purple/blue lump sticking out.
I have googled it and obviously have a thrombosed hemmorhoids have now convinced myself I am going to die from a migrating blood clot.
I have OCD and severe health anxiety. Wibu to go to out of hours?
The lump is excruciating and I am having a panic attack also.

Could you ring the doctor and get the emergency out of hours number?

I'm worried that I'll feel ridiculous going to out of hours but I just feel really worried. Do you think I need to be seen asap?

Not at all. If you are worried, call your emergency doctor's number.

They will be able to get a doc to ring you and administer a prescription for you. Maybe some cream or something. Don't worry too much though; piles are harmless. They may shrink on their own.
