Job interview outfit

Do I wear tights with the dress tomorrow to a job interview ? Fist job I’ve applied for yesterday and they rang today with the offer of an interview tomorrow I’m in a right panick been self employed for 6 years 23 now and never had an interview before

If so what colour tights come just on the knee the dress

I’d go for a colour so it doesn’t look so funereal!
Red or green or even a blue/grey I think that would make you look confident. Add some jewellery too.

Hmm not sure i agree with you @thegreylady - coloured tights might look a bit wacky for a first impression. Nude or black would be much safer and would look very professional.

Just looked closer at the pic - is the dress navy? If so I would avoid black tights and go for nude x

I agree with @thegreylady, I'd go for a dark green and wear jewellery, shoes and jacket to match but it kind of depends what the job is. I've always interviewed for creative roles where it's good to steer away from the standard interview look.

I think the dress is navy. I'd wear navy tights (or nude if I couldn't find my navy ones). I'd accessorise with a colorful necklace to reduce the funeral-ness. I dress for business meetings a lot my work wardrobe is all black, white and navy with a few specific departures for days when I feel rebellious. I almost always wear black or navy tights and keep a pair of nudes in the bottom of my handbag for emergencies!

Black tights would look fine. Don't over think it, they won't really be looking at what you're wearing unless it's a job in Devil Wears Prada.

Nude or barely black, accessorise with colour, eg red handbag or scarf, if need to stand out.
