To like soft play?

My DC love soft play areas. It gives them hours of exercise, they play hide and seek, tig, imaginative games, build dens ect. It's relatively cheap and I like joining in, too. I am the only parent I know who doesn't think soft play is hell on earth. The only thing I dislike about it is the grubbiness - I always feel like the DC need disinfecting afterwards.

I like it in small doses on weekdays. Soft play on a Saturday is hell on earth.

YANBU, my DC loved them when they were younger. I always feel that there should be older ones for teenagers who are having little Kevin and Perry moments but still need to let off steam as DS1 (12) is too old for them now.

There's a newish one that opened near to us about 5 years ago and once a month they deep-clean and the place is still spotless. Find one that is clean and you need never disinfect your DC again!

My ds loves it. As do my husband and I. We love joining in with him and having fun.

Well I hate it but my lo is only 2 so I have to go in too! Now that is hell! I can’t wait for when lo is old enough to go in alone and I can kick back and have a cuppa in the cafe area!

I love it. Keeps them active on wet days and out of my hair instead of jumping on beds screaming in our tiny house. They are big enough now to go round on their own as long as they know where I am. As for the grubbiness, well it's good for the immune system. (No scare stories please) only trouble is it's fairly expensive for 3 and the closest one is nearly an hour away. I suppose the rarity keeps it fresh.

I love it now that the dc are 3 and 6 so able to go in together. I drive past two to get to the much nicer third one. It is immaculate (staff in the frames with hand vacs etc) has a great chef making amazing food for the grown ups (and kids too if theyd prefer that to the usual kids meals). And they dont sell alcohol which the other two do

And much as I like a gllass of wine, soft ay isnt the place imo.

Soft play is a pit of doom and despair. The only time I ever go I take a book and hide whilst dh runs round like a big kid.
I absolutely hate it and avoid it as much as possible.
The dc’s love it.

Love it - we have a nice small quiet clean one nearby - gives me an hour of peace with a book and a coffee.

Mine are too big now but it was ok for a rainy afternoon when I couldn't be bothered to do anything else.
