I am trying desperately to find Bright and colourful joggers / leggings for my DS ( he has Autism and LOVES joggers / leggings / Trousers with bright colourful shapes / Patterns etc!)

AIBU to ask you where you got yours from?? Or know where to find them?

I have got him a pair from H&M ( blue ones with hot air balloons) and he loves them but I can't find anymore anywhere!

He is very small for his age so would be looking at toddler / young child size clothing!

I also don't want to spend a fortune if I can help it ..

Thankyou :)

Have you seen Maxomorra and little bird? Sainsburys often has some quite bright pieces in as well

rightsaidfrederickII · 07/01/2018 18:23

Have you had a look on eBay? There are lots of fab nearly new and new clothes on there, and always a greater variety than the high street.

funkylittlepeople.co.uk/collections/bottoms

They normally have a lot more than this, worth signing up for their mailing list.

Mothercare Little Bird range goes up to 6yo and often has bright joggers

YouCantArgueWithStupid · 07/01/2018 18:28

Boots MiniClub have lovely funky print stuff!

Thankyou everyone!

I have spent days looking on eBay ( off and on) with no luck but completely forgot about Etsy!

I have also looked on
Mini club but sadly didn't have anything :( the same as mother care .. but will definitely look back on their sites another day!

I will also sign up to that website :)

Thankyou everyone... hopefully can find a few pairs little man enjoys otherwise he will continue to live in his hot air balloon leggings! 🙈

My son lived in leggings when he was smaller! We used Toby Tiger (more like footless tights), Polarn O Pyret are great but a little pricey! Little Bird at mothercare, Gap are sometimes good! Tbh my son quite often wore from the girls dept or his sisters castoffs as these tended to be more vibrant!

GeekyBlinders · 07/01/2018 18:44

I got some bright leggings from mothercare for DS, but from the girls' range.

BillyBollocks · 07/01/2018 18:44

I buy a lot for my three from here

Have a look at Babipur. They have lots of clothes, and a sale on. Frugi, Little Green Radicals, Maxamorra, Duns etc are lovely and bright

HHH3 · 07/01/2018 18:46

Also have a look at Little Bird in Mothercare. Lots of bright clothes.

BillyBollocks · 07/01/2018 18:46

Oops, posted too soon! Blush Meant to add, they sell lovely bright fabric if you’re handy with the sewing machine.

IrkThePurist · 07/01/2018 18:47

Leggings are pretty easy to make, see if you can find a local seamstress who'll make them for you if you cant do it. Fabric is usually easy to source.

shakeyourcaboose · 07/01/2018 18:48

Love frugi and little green radicals have you tried a tk maxx trawl?

Nikkynakkynoo · 07/01/2018 18:50

I have some really cute rainbow print ones for DS from here Tubs Togs on etsy etsy.me/2D7k1hv

Lovely quality, and does custom orders so you can pick size/fabric if not available ready made

Mumatoo · 07/01/2018 18:52

H&M often do them but it's a case of watching out and grabbing them when you spot them.

M&S have some at the moment and Next often do too. Not the cheapest obviously but if you know he loves them wait until the sales come and buy all available styles in a various sizes.

Sainsbury's usually have some in TU but they're not always the most colourful. Worth stocking up in when they have their 25% off.

Try Sew Tiny on Facebook. Amazing clothes with gorgeous fabrics and a really good fit. She has a linked group where preorders and offers are posted first.

Find bumble patch creations on Facebook. She has amazing fabrics.

IMightMentionGriddlebone · 07/01/2018 18:59

Some of the Little Bird joggers in Mothercare go up to eight years old. www.mothercare.com/jeans-trousers-and-leggings/little-bird-by-jools-rainbow-joggers/LPA836.html?cgid=girls-trousers#start=10

I also recommend Mountain Warehouse, especially for t-shirts.

Talkingfrog · 07/01/2018 19:00

I know they have already been suggested but try Frugi, Kite, maxamorra etc. There are some facebook pages where you might find you can get some second hand in good condition, or find details of independents that sell them.

Depending on age you may find frugi still have some sale stock on their website. Sizing can vary though per style and season so worth joining one of the groups just for advice on sizing.

Have you tried H&M online?

lynzpynz · 07/01/2018 19:01

Try dance clothing places - they usually stock leggings in the most garish of colours!

Jackthelovely · 07/01/2018 19:01

Fred & Noah have some lovely prints / leggings
