I'd just got the popcorn in, came back and MNHQ had swooped!

beyondthesky · 05/01/2018 22:23

What does P2G mean?

londonista · 05/01/2018 22:25

Parcel2Go. Someone was on here complaining about it.

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 05/01/2018 22:26

What did MNHQ say when they swooped?

etap · 05/01/2018 22:26

"Thread deleted
This thread has been deleted by MNHQ for breaking our Talk Guidelines.
Return to the Talk home page, or most Active Conversations."

iveburntthetoast · 05/01/2018 22:27

I just had the same happen—no explanation, just a ‘this has been deleted’ message.

londonista · 05/01/2018 22:27

Unhelpfully "thread deleted".
It was just getting going!

I think the lawyers at MNHQ are working overtime tonight.

How can a thread about a delivery service break talk guidelines?
Last night a thread was deleted because the op was slating mums of prem babies and the op didn't like the replies she got.
Hmm

Haffiana · 05/01/2018 22:31

I suppose when they delete this one they will grace us with the TAAT explaination.

But we will never know which talk guideline they believe was broken last time. Kind of sloppy parenting really, isn't it?

londonista · 05/01/2018 22:34

TopBitch yes I am guessing OP wasn't enjoying the answers and asked them to delete it. She was PMing people to ask them to stop commenting if they didn't agree with her.

Which obviously went down like a cup of cold sick...

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 05/01/2018 22:37

Maybe it was the stroppy PMs that broke the guidelines in that case.

londonista · 05/01/2018 22:40

Haffiana well I thought you'd lightened the mood nicely with your comment 👏🏻😁

Is PMing people during a thread verbotten? I mean, it's obviously a dick move but I didn't realise it wasn't allowed.

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 05/01/2018 22:42

Depends on the wording of the PM I would imagine.

I have had some nasty ones in the past, and there's an option to report them to MNHQ.

londonista · 05/01/2018 22:44

I guess so.

I really need to get some new hobbies...!

OP posts:
TopBitchoftheWitches · 05/01/2018 22:45

@londonista

I didn't know about the pm's Grin makes it even more weird.

londonrach · 05/01/2018 22:46

Never saw it but used parcels2go several times and vvvv impressed by it

londonista · 05/01/2018 22:47

Londonrach ... OP was NOT happy with them at all, to put it mildly.

OP posts:
londonista · 05/01/2018 22:49

TopBitch, yes mumsnetters are renowned for being relaxed about such things!

In fact many did ask OP whether it was her first time here!

OP posts:
MrsOprah · 05/01/2018 23:40

Which obviously went down like a cup of cold sick...
I laughed so hard at that I snorted! Grin
