It's January 4th.
Fireworks going off locally.
Dog is going beserk.
Have I missed a religious festival or are people just being moronic?

Same here. Poor dog shaking in the bathroom (the only room sort of between other rooms and therefore most sheltered). There's no consistency either. It's a couple of loud ones and then nothing for 30 mins...then repeat. I really don't mind the organised shows, I can prepare for those, but I just want to be able to relax with my dog the rest of the time.

Maybe pre return to school celebrations?
