We both know it's over neither of us can just quite bring ourselves to say it. Luckily no kids, don't live together etc etc and it's very sad but just one of those things. Unfortunately though we are on holiday for another week and a half and we'd both loose quite a lot of money from if we early! So we're kind of stuck.

So my aibu is, are we bu to stay and enjoy anyway? And if so, how without getting on each other's nerves too much?!

Stay and enjoy for sure.

Sorry to hear that OP. Is it fairly amicable? Can you do some "neutral" non-couple things like sunbathing (get stuck into a book) or excursions with groups? What sort of holiday are you on?

NancyDonahue · 03/01/2018 22:12

Can you get your own room?

Definitely stay - rest it like a solo holiday if you do't want to spend all day together.
Whatever you do - don't waste your holiday!

If it is a gentle realisation rather than a dramatic showdown, can you not just treat it as a holiday with a mate?

Is there a tour or trip you can go on alone. A theatre or cinema trip? Perhaps meet up for dinner or a drinks, it doesn't have to be unpleasant.

Good luck OP
