But why do people in swimming pool changing rooms have to pollute the air with their aerosol deoderants, and they don't just use 2 quick squirts, but 4 very long squirts so that everyone in the changing room has to smell their absolutely disgusting deoderants.

lol... drives me mad too.

or when chavvy guys do it at the beach.... grrr!

chirpygirl · 24/04/2007 20:03

Pisses me off too! DH is banished every morning to the spare room to put his deodarant on otherwise I walk around in a cloud of gas all morning.

nickytwotimes · 24/04/2007 20:05

i hate when people do that too!

superloopy · 24/04/2007 20:58

My Dh does this too. So annoying!! Our chrome bathroom radiator is alway dirty and powdery looking from the excess spray too.

I think it is due to the people in the TV ads standing there looking all sexy and clean spraying their pits in slow motion for 5 minutes!! Makes people think they need to wear more than they do....

no bo is much better

vimfuego · 24/04/2007 22:25

Nobody needs deodorant. Just wash. Fresh sweat isn't offensive smelling. If you use antiperspirant you're blocking one of your body's natural heat outlets. Would you buy a new telly and tape over the exhaust vents? The only people who benefit from that vile chemical crap are the cosmetic companies.

vimfuego · 24/04/2007 22:26

You won't get "BO" unless you don't wash or change your clothes for days.

hippipotami · 24/04/2007 22:28

It is vile, my dh would literally choke me with his deodorant every morning in the bathroom...

I have now bought him some Pitrock in a little pump spray (not aerosol). Fab, no more clouds of noxious gas, and fresh smelling pits!!

As for the swimming pool changing cubicle - it is my pet hate too. I must confess, I don't even take deodorant if we go swimming... I kinda think the chlorinated water cleans my pits enough not to need deodorant till we get home..

Maybe they're out to give F&Z a sore head.

fireflyfairy2 · 24/04/2007 22:30

I won't have it in the house!

2 kids suffer from asthma & if it happens in the changing rooms, beleive me, I make a very long & very loud song & dance about it

Also when the postwoman drives up our lane too fast, but hey, that's a whole other thread!!
