This is not about me being ungrateful for xmas gifts. This is about my supposedly best friends. I had a total breakdown in September and missed a wedding and various other events but bought pressies for all events, so wrapped etc. They very rarely been in touch. Lots of stuff under xmas tree for them. They won't catch my nut job issue. Best friend got me coffee choc even she knows though I hate them n dropped them in my post box at end of driven didn't call in. I've a load of pressies that I have no use for. What should I do with them?

Take them to a charity shop.

Can you return them and get something for yourself? Sounds like you’ve had a bit of a tough time and should have a treat for yourself.

I'm sorry you've had a tough time recently, as single said, it sounds like you could do with treating yourself.
If you're unable/unwilling to return for a refund/keep them for yourself/eBay them/keep in the cupboard for the next event, you could think about donating to the local food bank if they're toiletries or non perishable foods. For the recipients it might make a welcome change from canned foods. Or, you could contact your local women's shelter and ask if any of the gifts might be appropriate for them - I did this recently and Womens Aid were happy to take some baby toys and posh toiletries.
