There was a strange man hanging around the back of my house today and now I am a bit freaked out.
My house backs on to a lane, it's a very quiet lane only dog walkers and runners really use it. A few weeks ago wind blew down out back fence - it's not completely down but leaning enough so that you can see into my garden. We haven't had it fixed yet waiting till after Christmas.
Earlier today I was looking out my bedroom window which is at the front of the house and saw a man walking strangely (he looked a bit like he was high or drunk) we had his hood up. I watched him for a bit as he went to sit on the bonnet of a car then didn't and walked towards the lane. So I went to the back of the house and looked out the window to see what he was doing as he looked very shifty. At first he turned the opposite way and walked fot a bit then looked down the lane towards my house and turned around and walked that way. He seemed to be walking in circles in the lane for a bit, then sat on the floor, then settled leaning against a lamp post right having my fallen down fence looking right into my garden and living room. He then stood there for about 10 mins, all the while I was stood in the window of my back bedroom watching him. A couple of times he looked up at me so he knew I watching.
I shouted down to dp who saw him and decided to go out into the garden to ask him if he was alright - to which he replied yes im just having a cigarette, he wasn't smoking at all!
He then walked off after a while but I didn't see which direction be went in and now I'm a little bit on edge of him coming back.
Am I just making something out of nothing?
