Anyone else's partner get on their nerves once they've had a drink?!? Jesus Christ, talking absolute bollocks, wound the kids up before bed, sulking because I won't get a takeaway, I've said I didn't mind if he got one but no he has to have one with me, I've come to bed! X

  1. Yes, he turns into an obnoxious bellend when he drinks whisky (I turn into one when I've had lots of wine)
  1. Tit end? Hmm
DeStijl · 30/12/2017 22:27

Yeuck

Insomnibrat · 30/12/2017 22:28

My Dad turns into a fucking wanker after a drink, JD usually. There's a harshness which creeps into his voice and attitude.
Its horrible to watch.

Tit end? Nope.

GingersMammy · 30/12/2017 22:29

I feel your pain, in fact I'm so fed up with it, I am going to set the wheels in motion to part company in the new year.

This resident alcoholic is annoying at the very least when he has been drinking to down right nasty and aggressive. It is pretty much a daily occurrence and on the occasions when he is sober he doesn't speak to me anyway!

Some people are nice with alcohol on board and some aren't, it's an ingrained thing that in my opinion, if that's a person's nature, it won't change so in my case, I need to make the change, roll on 2018!!

Merryoldgoat · 30/12/2017 22:29

I suspect it should be 'wit's end'...

happygolulu · 30/12/2017 22:29

My ex did. I felt like I wasn't even in the room on a weekend evening after we'd been out or he'd had a drink at a party or something. He would just talk talk talk about anything and everything and I couldn't get a word in. I used to get very frustrated and usually hop off to bed... alone. I did find out he was using cocaine at a later date and it was some of the reason for the constant chatter when he was drunk.

Insomnibrat · 30/12/2017 22:34

I do think 'Tit End' is a phrase. A bloody horrible one but i've heard it before.

It might be a Lancashire/Yorkshire thing. (I'm Lancs)

overduemamma · 30/12/2017 22:54

Sorry.. tit end - Yorkshire Phrase. (Getting on my nerves) basically. He doesn't speak most of
The time but once he's had one 2 many he starts talking and most of it is absolute crap. Moans about stuff that's not relevant etc. As I say I'm in bed already x

overduemamma · 30/12/2017 23:30
