Is romance overated?

Or is hoping for film style gestures reasonable?

I genuinely don't know what the reasonable expectation is.

Romantic moments in real life won't have the music so won't seem as amazing.
And depends which gestures you have in mind

Dancing. Oh god, do I miss dancing. Feeling someone's body against mine as their arm tightens around my waist and my head drops into their shoulder.

My partner won't dance. Even for fun in an empty room. He won't randomly kiss, touch, hug, or look into my eyes. There are no small gifts for no reason, no little things between us.

Is that usual?
