2 adults and an 18 month old. We would like to stay in a villa rather than hotel. In a small ish town with a beach. We like to walk to restaurants and shops, could hire a car if needed to go on Day trips.

No-where too hot, ideally 25-30 degrees. We’ve done Menorca (Callan Porter) before and enjoyed it but fancy somewhere different this time.

www.hotelcaladifalco.com/en/ We stayed here in Sardinia when dd was about the same age. They have villas and apartments but also access to the hotel facilities if you want them - we used to go for breakfast or lunch most days and hang out by the pool or beach which is across the road. Shops and restaurants within 5/10 mins walk. Very family friendly - plenty of high chairs and food available for little ones. Stunning beaches nearby so definitely worth hiring a car for a few days.

might be a little bit hotter than u wanted but calis beach in Turkey has everything you'd want. beautiful small seaside town with villas right on the beach, 5 minutes walk to more restaurants than you could ever want or need. lots of day trips and activities available - boat trips in particular are very popular and they can cater for little ones. Turks are all about the kids, incredibly family orientated. 4 hour flight and an hour's transfer the other end. very cheap too. gratuitous picture of the amazing sunset - meant to be the most beautiful sunset in the world :)
