TV is rubbish this Christmas so we have been watching a film in the evening after DC have gone to bed. Trouble is I think we've run out of decent ones! Would love to know if you've seen any decent films recently. I generally enjoy most genre.

Just watched 'The Foreigner' tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it, Not my usual type of movie either!

Orphan black. Series. Very clever. 5 seasons.

Bridge of Spies is a brilliant film. Now on Netflix.

Split and Hacked on Now TV - both surprisingly good horror films.

Ratter - was on Netflix a few months ago and again a surprisingly good horror.

Also, Kristy. Another horror film that was on Netflix but it was a good two years ago now..

On Prime I have saved the following films to watch - Manchester by the Sea, 20th century women, my life as a courgette, girl on a train, gone girl (on normal tv), pitch perfect 2 (tv new years day), Sarah's key and Lion. For years we had sky cinema (got a cheap deal) but I never found much I wanted to watch on it.

Just finished watching the sinner on Netflix because of recommendations on here and I absolutely loved it. Thanks for the great replies.
