Ideas for disciplining a 6 year old

6 year old DS has become increasingly naughty lately, doesn't listen at all and answers back on a regular basis. We have tried taking toys away but he has so many that he doesn't care. Plus it becomes a game and he hunts around the house for said toy. Looking for ideas to discipline him? (In a positive, kind way)

I am totally into gentle kind parenting but have been putting my dd (6 next month) in her room to think about her behaviour when she is very oppositional/rude. It's a last resort but sometimes she doesn't respond to talking and listening.

Losing TV time is what mostly works with DD.
