I’m really embarrassed about having to ask this but peeps on here have awesome advice I don’t get paid until Saturday my gas has ran out I’m with SSE if I call them and explain the situation do I think they’d put a little on my gas card to get me through and take the debt back weekly? I’m not worried about me I’ll bundle up but it’s my little girl I feel for.
Thanks in advance and please no bashing believe me u can’t make me feel any worse than I already do 😩

I know quite a lot of companies including essex and suffolk water even help you out if youre struggling. Its worth a shot even if they say no

I think if you have a child you’re classed as a vulnerable household so they have to let you go into debt, please do call them, don’t let your child be cold.

You have a child so they will help you out. I dont know how, but they dont want you to be cold or get into massive debt.

Definitely call them

I think given it’s December and you have a young child they’re very likely to be helpful

But even if they’re not, you’ve lost nothing by trying

I hope you have some heat OP. Are you on a card/key meter? I think they can credit it, especially if you have a young child in the house. Not sure how young your little girl is but maybe hot water bottles could help if you can't get gas put on. I hope they sort something for you.
