Been single about a year and thinking of online dating. Does anyone know which sites are good? I was thinking of starting off with the free ones. Mid 30s so not interested in Tinder type sites!
I am vvv nervous!
Thanks :)

Eharmony worked for me.

Good luck!

Okcupid worked for me Smile

OkCupid for me and my now DH. Been together 7 years, pregnant with 2nd DC, very happy!

I met DH on Match. We've just had our second child. I was on POF before that. I had lots of nice dates but didn't meet the one.

Steer away from Plenty of fish, full of plenty of wrong uns

I met my soon to be husband on Match.com - one of the best things I ever did.

Notcool1984 · 26/12/2017 18:48

Thanks! Will give match a go! My main concern is I have two children, will that put men off?

Okcupid worked best for me. Match and eharmony turned up lots of nice people too far away. Mention the children by age and gender, and make clear they are your priority. Good luck

I was luckily enough to meet my DH on POF but i was 26 and he was 28.
I had some dates with dickheads, if i was older at time, i would have done eharmony and match.com
There's snakes on all of them, you just have to talk to them for a bit before you meet.

Plenty of people with children, especially 30+. People dont mind. I personally wouldnt put them as my profile picture or on my pictures on random sites.

If you're just dipping your toe in the water, I'd try POF. Get used to being online, maybe have a few first dates and treat it as a trial run? You might meet Mr Right, maybe not. But you'll have some ideas / experience when/if you decide to pay.

Okcupid is good, and i know two happy couples who met on Match! Good luck with your search OP and try to have fun meeting new, interesting people Smile

I think Bumble is the best one at the moment.
