Staying in my aunts house, given a lovely spare room to myself no complaints. Very tired so headed to bed about an hour ago.
She keeps a filing cabinet by the door and for the last hour she has been walking to it, turning on the light (old house and there is a window above the door so the light comes right in) rifling through it for 5 mins, turns light off and goes away for 5 mins... repeat.
I would be unreasonable ask her to stop this wouldn't i?
I'm so tired I've had three hours sleep last night after a 6 hour drive to the highlands from where I live to be woken by over excited neice at sparrows fart. Arg.

YANBU - why can't she get her stuff tomorrow?

She's been a lovely host and is widowed so lives alone... don't think she realises the impact it has on other people!

Has she lost something and is panicking? Maybe check with her that everything is ok - it subtly tells her she’s keeping you up without having to tell heR.
