Not even boxing day and I'm already wishing I'd bought DP wireless headphones for the TV. I'm craving some peace and quiet, but the telly is doing my nut in. Snow white and the huntsman has just started. Oh joy! Anyone else missed a trick this year?

DM's just announced, in all innocence, that she'd love to spend the night at a hotel on the coast where we went for lunch last month. Would have made the perfect present!

I also wish I'd asked for more books as I've already finished reading everything in the house.

Same toys for both children.

Never am I ever going to ask my DD (3) what she wants for Christmas and believe her when she says she will be happy for her little brother to have different toys suited to his age.

And never am I ever going to buy DS (1.5) toys different from his older sister.

They've literally been fighting all day for one another's gifts, not willing to swap or share.

24 hours of child care of both kids.

Munrow my two do have duplicate presents and they're still fighting over each others stuff, so I wouldn't worry about it Grin

One of my DC won a Toblerone in our after dinner game (£1, poundshop) - other two DC's were very jealous despite ALL the prizes costing £1 Grin

Should have bought lots of them...

Rebeccaslicker · 25/12/2017 21:33

I should have bought myself really really good earplugs. I love DP and he's brilliant but my god the man snores like a 747 on takeoff, and he's been drinking since lunchtime today :(
