We bought the Sainsburys veg selection and there appears to be no instructions. No idea whether the containers they are in can go straight in the oven or whether some is for microwave etc. No timings or anything. Anyone else bought the same and have instructions?!
We have the cabbage, parsnips, roast potatoes, cauli cheese and sprouts.

Sorry not sure but just suggesting as most of those listed veg can be roasted I would transfer them to a roasting pan and pit them in the oven. Except for the cabbage.

If you can find products on the Sainsbury's website it has cooling instruction on there.

Ok... Plastic containers = microwave or oven, metal containers = definitely not microwave. Of those vegetables, potatoes and parsnips will take longest; about 40-45 mins at c.220 (depending on your oven and whether it's fan). Cauliflower cheese will need about 20 mins, ideally at a lower temperature. Sprouts won't take long and can be steamed or microwaved. Timings etc. all depend on the size of the pieces of veg, your individual oven and personal preference. Good luck!

Or cooking instructions...

hidinginthenightgarden · 25/12/2017 10:36

Thanks. Main concerns are sprouts and cabbage. They look to be in microwaveable containers but have no idea on timings.

Thanks. Bishop, they were in the "food to order" section which is now closed because you can no longer order!

Are they pre-prepared or pre-cooked?

Apileofballyhoo · 25/12/2017 10:44

Most of them will be forgiving, except the sprouts and to a lesser extent the cabbage. They won't be at all nice if overcooked.

Are the sprouts whole or quartered/halved/sliced?

Here you go, I bought the exact same vegetable selection from Sainsbury’s
