So "daddy" was supposed to bring presents for children, he was so looking forward to seeing his children his words "I can't wait to see you"
Yes you guessed it he was a no show despite my dd emailing him - no fucking reply from that deadbeat it has now been over 30 hours can I officially declare him dead?
Yes I emailed him and went to town horrible horrible man. My dd was really upset she kept going outdoors to see if he had arrived.
So the children have now gone to bed very happy I might add. But still no apology contact nothing.
What a a hole AngryXmas Angry

gunsandbanjos · 24/12/2017 21:34

My ex did this one Halloween, left our daughter waiting for him all dressed up. You have my sympathies.

KindergartenKop · 24/12/2017 21:35

Fucker. She will realise this one day.

Starlight2345 · 24/12/2017 21:40

May the fleas of a thousand camels infest his armpits. What a wanker. Poor dc, hope they’re ok.

ManchesterGinglebells · 24/12/2017 21:47

My boys Dad used to do this. Wanker! It's heartbreaking for the kids, your poor DD x

toomuchofacoincidence · 24/12/2017 21:53

Fingers crossed he's been twatted down a dark alley by a thug dressed as Mickey Mouse!
Hope your DD is okay 🌺

Flopjustwantscoffee · 24/12/2017 22:01

What. A. Twat.

BewareOfDragons · 24/12/2017 22:01

Your children will start to see through the Disney Dad show with selfish stunts like this.

Poor things.

Sounds like you're doing your best to soften the hurt, OP. Well done. x

Flaky · 24/12/2017 22:04

How old are the DC? Are they old enough to understand that 'Daddy' has his own issues is a scumbag and it's not any reflection on them that he's a deadbeat?

oldstudentmum · 24/12/2017 22:07

Thanks guys xxx she is nine but I monitor her emails. She is very excited about tomorrow. She has been watching one of her fav programs on Netflix- fuller house new series lol
Going to put some fake snow footprints downstairs by chimney hope they both love it
But I hope karma bites him on the arse. Xmas Grin

We think he has gone on a xmas bender. My dd has said he has ruined Christmas but now is so excited she has really wised up to the sperm donor is another good description for him, my youngest is four so oblivious (he was under two when c**t walked out)

Starlight2345 · 24/12/2017 22:13

Sure she will have a lovely day with you. She won't forget Disney Dad not making time for her for Christmas.

froshiechipandbrickie · 24/12/2017 22:16

The footsteps will make it look very Santa Claus-y. What a lovely idea (might still if for when DDs are older...)

He’s a twat and I really hope he’ll regret it one day! (Unless there was a medical emergency or something...).
But it seems like you handled things and managed to cheer them up.

Their daddy may be a deadbeat but they seem to have a kickass mummy!

froshiechipandbrickie · 24/12/2017 22:21

And yes, they will learn to look through his bullshit / the facade.

May he get prolapsed hemorrhoids, what a twat.

Fishfingersandwichnocheese · 24/12/2017 22:35

Arse. May he get syphilis and his cock drop off.

HelenaDove · 24/12/2017 22:43

What a selfish selfish tosser who doesnt deserve to be a father.

PersianCatLady · 24/12/2017 22:45

What does "Disney Daddy" mean, the Disney part?

Iwantamarshmallow · 24/12/2017 22:49

When I was very young my dad promised to visit me on my birthday. I'd been invited to a special event at Sunday school but choose to see daddy instead. Finally after waiting for hours I called him, he wasn't there but his charming new girlfriend told me to f*k off and said he wanted nothing to do with me. I was devestated at the time but after that I saw him for what he was and grew up not missing him. I'm so sorry for your dc's but hopefully they'll see him for the dik he is now. Its his loss

DO3271 · 24/12/2017 22:51

Disney Dad means the Dads that sweep in with all the fun stuff and promise the earth but don't have to do any of the menial parenting like school runs, homework, discipline. They just paint a picture of being Disney perfect but are far from it. Always used sarcastically.

OP, I hope your ex is not having a good Christmas. Arsehole

Tinysarah1985 · 24/12/2017 23:11

Oh I am so sorry to hear that. I bet your DD is devastated. Does he have previous for the radio silence if something like this has happened before?

I hope you and your children have a lovely day tomorrow x

oldstudentmum · 24/12/2017 23:19
