You can spend a large proportion of your day trying to calm and angry ranty 6 week old to sleep, their dad comes home, baby gazes into his eyes and quietly falls asleep as if to say "Thank you daddy, she's kept me awake all day."
Lighthearted but also WHY?!

My DC do this, especially the youngest two. They'll drive me batshit like it's their mission in life then at 6pm DH will swoop in the door like Superman and they'll instantly switch to sweetness and light.

It doesn't stop as they get older either! Let him take over and have some time to yourself!
