To find it utterly impossible to do anything

with a 1yo and 3yo at home? Im trying to do some pre christmas laundry and DD3 is running around bored and every time i turn my back DD1 is climbing something or pulling something out.

Ive tried to baby proof but doesn't stop them, they create things to do or create havoc. Or they have a shit whenever i start doing something.

I put out entertainment such as the TV and also toys and books but they are engaged for 5 minutes and then run off.

AIBU to think this is the same for everyone and also to ask for any tips?

I have a 3yo and a 7mo, the 7mo started crawling at 5 months and gets everywhere. I also put on the t.v. dd1 has her own tablet which keeps her quiet for half an hour. She can also colour in paper and play with stickers . The 7mo loves playing with paper. Watching for more tips.
