I've seen a few of these for kids, they aren't cheap but my DS almost eight wants to play out with other children when it's light (without me!) and I want to let him but would feel better if I could see his location even though I do trust him not to go wondering about.
The thing is we have terrible phone signal round here and he is so fussy with what he wears is this something I should get for him and let him choose that's not a Christmas/birthday gift when it's so expensive?
And should I be getting him this at all if regular signals are so bad I don't know if there is a difference with gps and phone/internet signals?
