Limbo cast

Has anyone submerged one of these cast covers in water? They say it's ok to do it and I really want a bath but I'm sceptical that my cast will stay completely dry.

Dd used hers in the shower and her cast stayed dry. Never tried the bath though

DD used hers in the bath and she's been fine (5 operations and at least 20 casts)

That's great @ABitOfACyclePath, I've been really wanting a nice hot bath as everything is achy from using crutches but was too nervous.

DS submerged his in the bath- he broke his arm and had a full arm cast- it worked really well. I say go for it!

Will you be able to safely get in and out the bath with your broken limb?

Hope you feel better soon.

kaytee87 · 22/12/2017 04:16

I'm pretty sure I could push up on my arms and one leg to get out. I can get up from the floor in a similar fashion. Im lucky that I've always been relatively strong for my size even if I'm not very fit

I used one on my two year olds broken leg and he had a bath most days for a month with it. Hard to get on and off though

My friend went swimming in her one! I’ve had a bath and fully submerged 👍🏽
