Have I had a miscarriage

I'm posting here for traffic as the other board gets hardly any replies.

I was 17 days late for my period. AF came on 18th day and was very painful and heavy. I've been heavy for 2 days and today the blood is just pure brown but a lot of it and doesn't appear to be slowing down.

Sorry for TMI, but I've never experienced anything like this before. I don't want to mention it to DH in case I'm being silly.

I think you might be pet- but to be honest it's so so common this early most people just class it as a missed period.

Did you do a pregnancy test? I'm not sure I'd torture myself making any assumptions. Missed and crazy late periods are fairly common. But others might be able to tell you more.

Thankyou for replying sad. It's just such a new experience to me as my AF is always on time, so the being late coupled with the pain/short red blood bleed and now the brown makes me think it's something more

Zig I did and it was negative but it was Internet cheapie and I don't know how reliable it was
