We recently had a family party for 4 generations between 0-90. We were unsure about bringing our DC as DS was sick 46 hours before, and DD was developing a nasty cold. We were all encouraged to come. Turned up to find DH’s DSis had brought DD age 1 who had been sick 12 hours before. A further two relations were vomiting. And now I have norovirus.
So AIBU to think that with sickness, diarrhoea or fever you should wait the standard 48 hrs before attending a party? Or do the rules not count if it’s family?
I’m praying that the GGPs stay in good health and feeling very sorry for myself!
