To be fed up with recipes and Tim Lott

I have always read the Guardian. Since I gave up the Beano, anyway.

In my teens I loved the brilliantly political columns in tne then Women’s Page.

Now we get Family, infested with the insufferable Tim Lott (and his highly dubious views in what actually constitutes equality in the home) and hundreds of recipes. In the Colour supplement (many pages), in a weekly supplement...

It’s too much. I can’t justify the cost anymore.

I agree. I can't bear the endless food columns. The wankery of the restaurant reviews!

I genuinely feel sad at how The Guardian has ended up.

I agree. DH buys it daily and it's SO bland and dreary. The worst is Stuart someone who OMG looks after his own baby!!! and writes these astonishing revelations about childcare such as it's tiring and grubby and sometimes they are cute. That's not writing, it's typing, but he gets paid for it because it's a radical male angle on childcare.
