Sounds silly but.....
Always had what I thought was a close family. 2 sisters and a brother. All different but that’s what made us tick. Mum and Dad always loving and supportive no matter what we threw at them. And believe me..over the years they had lots to deal with.
I’m the eldest and my brother is the youngest. He’s just got married. She seems ok and we’ve all gone out to try and make her as welcome as possible. Since the wedding, SIL has decided we are all awful people. Negative, horrible people. She openly slagged my mum off to me and said how ‘everyone’ thought she was negative. Close to my mum and this cut through me!! I asked sil why she suddenly thought this. Turns out my youngest sister has turned everyone away from my mum!! She’s slowly been dissecting her personality and allowing others to believe that my mum is nothing but an awful person!!!!! Yet continuing to pretend all is fine!! In 4 months my family has been torn apart!! Not only did my sil tell me this.....she faced my mum and told her!!!!!!!! I’ve now got my mum in a terrible state. She’s the kindest person you could meet. Would help anyone. And is in a mess!!
How do I deal with thiS?
