Can anyone recommend a mid range hairdryer?

I'm looking for one as a present but not sure what's good and not. Can anyone recommend a good one or are they all much the same?

I would not be without my parlux but I am not sure it's mid range... it's lasted years so have to admit not been in the market for one for a while but it is amazing.....

I have a Parlux and it's fantastic- salons use them and it's much better than any standard hairdryer I've ever used. Think it was about £60

I have the Babyliss Speed Pro 2200 and it's stood up to over four years of pretty much daily use on very long and thick hair... although it's maybe a bit more budget end of the scale Blush

I have a ghd and really like it - have also been told it's quieter than my old cheaper one.

Parlux sounds fab but out of budget unfortunatley! Will get investigating.

I bought a Diva in Sally's for £40. It's 8 years old now but still powerful.

I have a Dyson and a Parlux. The Parlux is good but the Dyson wins hands down. It is not mid range though.

I have this one. I like it very much and it's a pretty colour. It dries my hair efficiently. I don't know what else to say about it!

I’m another Ghd user- it’s certainly quieter as my asd daughter can tolerate this one and none other

What exactly is your price range?
I have a Tresseme something or other which I'm unlikely to have paid more than £25 for. I'm a frumpy middle-aged fatso but I always get loads of compliments about my hair.
