.. to get my son’s father a school photo?
I’m feeling really guilty!
We don’t speak really, he sees our son once a fortnight and only speaks to him during the week if I call him for DS. We had an awful relationship, he cheated and was abusive so the less I have to do with him the better.
On school photo day I was working late, got home and was shown photo list. Picked the best of 2 photos and ordered a handful of small pictures, a couple of key rings and a big photo for his grandparents. Didn’t give his dad a second thought, I admit that.
Gave his dad a key ring this evening and he’s flipped his lid, swearing at me and telling me I’ve really upset him. I know I’ve majorly dropped the ball and do feel bad about it but part of me is frustrated that this is the man who’s never done a school run, attended a school play, doesn’t really bother unless I report any going’s on, yet is quite happy to tell me I’ve excluded him from these pictures.
AIBU to be upset by this? I’ve forgotten one thing and am being made to feel horrible.
