Help! Christmas tree crisis

So, after buying and planting our Christmas three I asked DH and two SS to decorate. A week later, nothing, nothing not even twinkling cheap lights. Nothing. I EVEN left the boxed lights out. I refuse to do it.

Ask them if you can all take an hour or so to do it together over the weekend? It's not really worth stressing about. How old are your step sons?

Not sure we can help this stand off. Can you agree some "fun" afternoon where you do it together? With a movie on and the reward of a pizza (or whatever)?

Hmmm this is serious. I think you may have to shout a little, or bribery.
I had a similar stand off in summer involving a large piece of chocolate sponge cake on the bathroom floor no idea how that happened, I flatly refused to move it. The teenage DS who was the likely culprit didn't bat an eyelid.
It stayed there for 6 weeks whilst I balefully eyed it every time I used the loo. I gave in the end, and had a tantrum about it.
