To ask for the difference to be refunded?

Bout the new Amazon Fire HD8 on Saturday afternoon, it was £80. Browsing Amazon today and it's down to to £50 Hmm

WIBU to email Amazon and ask for a refund of the difference or return the one I've got and re-order the £50 one? I've read about other people getting the difference refunded but not sure I'd be so lucky

Return and buy again

pickleface · 14/12/2017 19:46

I'd ask and if they said no I'd return it then buy another. They're good accepting returns.

chickenowner · 14/12/2017 19:48

Definitely worth asking!

Ask them whether they'd prefer to refund you the difference or would they prefer it to be returned?

FlippertyJibbit · 14/12/2017 20:00

Right, I've given it a go. The worst they can say no isn't it?

Do it on live chat, they'll sort it straight away

RaspberryRuffless · 14/12/2017 20:14

Amazon used to refund the difference if the price dropped within 7 days.

bouncydog · 14/12/2017 20:18

They wouldn’t refund the difference on sunbeds that I ordered that dropped in price the next day. So I reordered at the lower price and they collected the original ones! Saving was over £100 so worth the hassle.

Just thought I'd let you all know they've refunded me the £30 difference.. merry Christmas to me Xmas Grin
