To ask what to do about this parcel

Hermes apparently attempted to deliver my parcel two weeks ago. It's now marked as "delivered to reception" do I contact them or the company I ordered from. No money has been returned to my account.

Delivered to reception where? Your place, or theirs?

MrsExpo · 13/12/2017 22:21

Was it delivered to your workplace or home? Contact the person you ordered from to get them to chase it up.

Contact both, if you know it's marked as delivered you have a tracking number for hermes. phone them and ask.

ForagingForFaerieGold · 13/12/2017 22:31

You contact the company you ordered from. They have the contract with the courier, not you. They can refund or replace and then chase the courier for themselves. It's their job to fix this for you. Don't take any nonsense.

User700800 · 13/12/2017 22:31

It doesn't specify it was meant to come to my home address

Hermes will say that they don't deal with the general public and to contact the retailer from whom you bought the item. You can tweet them, but they won't actually do anything except tell you your parcel is lost, then repeat the above.

Hermes are fairly faecally scented.

I had this exact same thing happen down to the reception message. They had left it with a neighbor who kindly brought it to me when they realised I didn’t know where it was. Good luck!
