To go home?

AIBU to leave my Christmas night out now and go home early? I don’t want to tell people and make a big fuss everyone asking why etc. I’ve not had much to drink and think I’ll just go and get a cab and either text after I’ve left or tell one person on my way out.
AIBU I feel really left out (new ish job) and just want my own bed. I’m supposed to be staying in hotel with a bunch of girls (own room tho and paid for already by me)

Tell someone and go. You don't need an excuse. If you feel yju do, claim you're sick but fine to go home. Text one or more once home so they don't worry.

I mean actually home home. Go and check out of hotel and go home. This was kinda always my back up plan really and I left taxi money in my purse in hotel.
But wasn’t planning on being first to leave

I can’t be assed with journey home tomorrow morning and regretted getting hotel room. Money not a major issue so thinking just fuck it

If it's a social job/team and you want this to work you should try. Have a few more drinks make an effort and get involved.

If your happy to just turn up do your work go home keep yourself to yourself just leave.

I'm the second of the two. Now I tell them straight I won't be attending this event. I see you all for 37.5 hours a week that is plenty Grin

Ah bless you op sorry your feeling left out :( I would but Deffo text and tell someone so they aren't worrying . If you think they will be wondering why just say you felt ill or something

Just do it. You can always say something dramatic like you had a bad belly and just wanted your own bed or you want to give an explanation later.

I told them I was leaving. Just that I was ready to go home. Didn’t actually say I was going home home tho haha. But they won’t even know!
