Not really AIBU but can I ask you all to help me with a cover story.
Next wed, DNiece is due to be picked up from mine by her mum. I want to take her to get a portrait done but don't get paid till thurs so I need an excuse to have her stay an extra night and go home Thursday afternoon. I can't tell her because I want to gift her and my mum framed prints for xmas 'from DN' because my DB is useless and hasn't sorted any presents yet!
What can I say I need to do with her Thursday morn? 😂
