Am I being a grinch?

We live in a cul de sac that loops round a green. One of our neighbours has put their last year's dead Xmas tree on the green, tied to a metal pole to keep it up and plonked a bit of tinsel on it. I know it's their tree from last year because it sat on the pavement for weeks last Jan (they were presumably hoping the bin man would take it). What would you do? It looks terrible!

get some loppers, lop the branches off and leave it in a heap.m

Don't put it in your skip, it will encourage them.

Stick some "presents" under it, do you have a dog?? Not promoting dog fouling just can't think of any other type of "present" you could use

If you stick it in your skip you can easily claim that someone else did it - 'people always put crap in other peoples' skips!'
