How can I stop losing stuff?

Since October I have left my passport on a plane (thankfully found), lost a train season ticket (thankfully replaced) and now can't find a ring DH bought me. It was only Accessorize and was going green so I had to take it off when I washed my hands - so I have probably left it in a public loo.
What the fuck is wrong with me? I try so hard but am having a really bad phase. Sad

Are you grieving or do you have something major on your mind like a health issue?

I find that if I have something like that going on, my brain devotes itself to that thing and I can't remember a thing.

Do you use a handbag? I really had to train myself hard about this stuff and be very conscious of passport, in bag, check bag, zip bag, etc. Bag with outside zipper for season ticket. Zap put back. House and car keys straight in bag at all times. Until it becomes habit living alone helped.

I was losing my keys and bank card constantly a little while back. It's cos I had loads of my mind kept forgetting where I had put them.
