WIBU to wake DP up?

DSD and I have been up since 6:30. We normally do our shopping on a Saturday morning. This morning we have somebody coming to our house at 10 am to do a short survey to give us a quote for moving house.

WIBU to wake DP up at 8 so we can go shopping and get back in time for 10 am? Even if I went on my own with DSD I'd still end up waking him up as my clothes are I'm our bedroom.

Wake him and then if he's not moving fast, you two go.

Ropsleybunny · 09/12/2017 07:43

I can’t believe you’re having to ask.

NapQueen · 09/12/2017 07:44

Just nip in and quietly get your clothes. If he wakes and asks where you are going he can then choose whether to join you.

Umm why? If DP gets up with DSD sometimes I've stayed in bed until 9. So I guess 8 seems quite early to wake him up.

Does he need to go shopping with you?

Shoxfordian · 09/12/2017 07:45

Of course that's not unreasonable

This.

BeingaTwat - no, he just said he wanted to last night.

If he said he wanted to then what's the prob waking him?

Ropsleybunny · 09/12/2017 07:55

It just seems a simple thing to me. Surely you’re capable of making a decision on this without going online.

Sirzy · 09/12/2017 07:55

Can the shopping not wait until later?

Can the shopping not wait until later?

^^ apparently it's going to have to. It's "too icy to drive" says DP...

No need to ask, your a couple. Yes you both do your fare share, wake him love, don't ask permission

Oysterbabe · 09/12/2017 14:31

I realise this was quite a time limited AIBU but I'd have just done the shopping later too.
