YABU to be annoyed that your child found out it’s a lie. They will, in time, get over it. You are not the first parent to have to deal with the fall out and your kid will have forgotten all about it by New Year’s Day.
YABU to fill up the AIBU board with yet another FC thread when there is a perfectly good Christmas thread board elsewhere on MN.
