Just a vent

We keep getting letters from e-on about an overdue account. There is a company name (which we have never heard of), and our address. Bear in mind our house was a new build house when we bought it.

The power usage however is for another property we also have never heard of.

When we got the first overdue bill I sent a letter to e-on which they ignored.

Today got a letter about this bill stating it would be passed on to a debt collection agency, so I phoned them up. They have no idea why they have my address, can’t explain it. But the poor person who should have got the letters/bills may have to pay a late payment charge because e-on sent the bills/letters to the wrong address.

Just for interest we do not have an account with e-on.

So who knows where e-on sends your bills too.

E-on are shite! On the plus side DH and I are off out for dinner tomorrow night on the compensation the ombudsman awarded us due to their total shortness and underhand processes.

Oh god have had a complete nightmare with EON lately, they were trying to claim my Mum owed them almost £500 for a property she has never lived in. They have been going backwards and forwards for a couple of months now and it's got to the point we will have to refer to Ombudsman. It's really stressing her out.

Congrats Lidlfix will let my Mum know, were they good?

So I should expect the bailiffs soon then.

EON is a nightmare! We were with them until last year and after we moved house, we swapped because I couldn't deal with the problems anymore. If you can, send them as many letters and emails as possible, they deserve it! x
