I have a cake sale at work tomorrow morning! I have pretty much no kitchen utensils to speak of so I thought fridge cake would be the best way to go, but there’s a million and one recipes out there and I don’t know what sort to make - help me MNers!

Fifteens! It's a N. Ireland thing, you can Google it. Dead easy and quick.

You could still melt chocolate if you have a kettle? Just make a Bain Marie and melt it slowly. Might just need to make some mars bar cake today, this thread has inspired me!

This I use digestives instead of rich tea. You can also add in raisins or glacé cherries for an extra texture.

If you don't have a micro, then I agree about doing Fifteens. So easy to make an unbelievably yummy.

You don't need to heat or melt anything

I only found out recently that they were only a NI thing! I thought they were something everyone knew about and had!
