To ask if anyone else will be alone over the festive period?

I always am, but that doesn't mean it is easy.

So I am wondering who else is in this position, and if you would like to form a mini support group

Does just ds and I count as alone? Ds is very nearly 3.

I would say so. I imagine that's hard in many ways will it get easier as he grows up, do you think?

I'm used to being on my own at Xmas, it'd be weird to me if I wasn't. :o

I think you can be used to it but still feel strange. I tend to feel very cut off from everything and everybody.

I have 4 kids and will be spending it with them (no one else) my sister refers to it as "spending it alone" but I'm not sure it is :-/
